Khaled Noor is standing to be selected as Labour’s Parliamentary candidate for Ilford South at the next General Election. He has lived in Seven Kings, Ilford, with his wife and 2 children for the past 10 years and is a respected member of the local community.
I am extremely proud of the contributions made by our town’s residents. I am always looking for ways to give back to the community that has given me so much over the years.
The demographics of Ilford South have greatly changed over the past two decades, as have the views of those living here. Many members of the local community currently feel they have been neglected or under-represented by the Labour Party.
Ilford South deserves an MP who can understand their concerns and who has a genuine interest invested in ensuring they will seek to address the hardest hitting issues facing these communities. This aspiration is within our reach if Labour selects a candidate who is from the local community.
Khaled Noor is a passionate campaigner, highly involved community activist and experienced public speaker with a proven track record. As a member of the BAME community, Khaled Noor strongly believes that political activism and community engagement are key to addressing some of the core challenges facing London’s diversity.
If I become the Member of Parliament for Ilford South, I will be the voice of and unifying figure for our diverse set of communities. I will represent our local area and the views of all those living and working here.
